From a New York Times and Ironport surveying it emerges that the spam covers 90% of the arrival mail, with an increase that goes from 25% to 45% regarding 2005.

Perhaps this is the reason that someone have tried to give a sense to this mountain of garbage. With the idea that the Spam is however part of our history and of Internet life, the artist Adam Harvey has prepared in New York an exposure of pictures realized using a software that transform undesired email in art works.

This revaluation of the spam has been followed by radios, fans club, forum and even a museum. The last creation was made by Jonathan Lands which has collected all the Spam arrived on its mailbox, he has answered to the mysterious senders and has published the funny mail exchange, publishing also a book entitled The Spam Letters.
